Canadian Tour Operator Canadvac implements Pacific successfully
Canadvac, which serves European tour operators such as DERTOUR, Meier’s Weltreisen, Kuoni and Hotelplan, has been offering travel arrangements in the Atlantic Canada region, Quebec and Ontario for more than 25 years, with New England added recently.
For Canadvac, ISO’s web-based tour operator solution Pacific is the right choice because its SaaS model allows it to be scaled to the operations of small- and medium-sized tour operators. ISO hosts the system, too, giving Canadvac access to Pacific without having to spend time on maintenance or operating the hard- and software. Canadvac can thus rely on a proven and scalable web-based platform and on the Dynamic Travel Components.
The Dynamic Travel Components are based on the new Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and offer several advantages: simple integration, specialization in tourism processes, availability and scalability on J2EE servers – factors that make web-based tourism software components the perfect solution to complete and optimize any IT infrastructure.
ISO is pleased to announce that the implementation has been completed before the official target live and that Canadvac is very satisfied with the results of the project. Franziska Fenselau, co-owner of Canadvac is full of praise for Pacific and the ISO Team:
“Pacific is the platform; I can finally grow my business without limitations to functionality, flexibility or size. The ISO Team has implemented some crucial Canadian Tax functionality to enable the quotation and booking process for Canadian Tour Operators. We work very well together with the ISO Team in Montreal and look forward to continue our excellent working partnership relation.”
