ISO Software Systeme expands its Strategic Partnership with IATA

ISO has expanded its partnership with IATA – the trade association for the world's airlines – to include the topics of NDC (New Distribution Capability) and ONE Order (orders in place of PNRs and tickets).

NDC will enable the travel industry to transform the way air products are retailed to corporations, leisure and business travelers. This is accomplished by addressing the industry's current distribution limitations: product differentiation and time-to-market, access to full and rich air content and finally, transparent shopping experience.

ONE Order aims to modernize the order management process in the airline industry. This industry-led initiative intends to replace the multiple and rigid booking, ticketing, delivery and accounting methods, using the data communications advances made possible by the implementation of the New Distribution Capability (see above).

The expanded partnership will allow ISO to collaborate with the respective working groups and task forces and thus participate in the creation of the new standards. ISO can then implement these in its SKYfly solutions already at an early stage – to the benefit of its customers.
