ISO Software Systeme adds Cargo Handling to its SKYport portfolio
ISO Software Systeme is enhancing its Airport Management Suite SKYport by adding features for cargo handling. In developing this cargo module, the software company from Nuremberg has taken a further step in exchanging existing proprietary technologies by the web-based Dynamic Components platform used throughout the company.
The Dynamic Components platform lets ISO Software Systeme serve innovative markets that are increasingly demanding differentiated solutions adapted specifically to individual fields. Despite different specializations, the individual Java-based modules all share common components. Here, SKYport Cargo consolidates the functional range of the existing applications SKY-Cargo and eCargo.
SKYport customers thus benefit from integrated cargo handling in several ways: airway bills are processed directly in the daily flight plan, freight-specific SITA messages are both received and sent, and the required forms are produced.
SKYport Cargo is, of course, also integrated with the accounting – for a seamless processing and invoicing of freight charges.
Customs handling is also possible, thanks to links to all established web services such as ATLAS or eZoll.
