Our Solution

The Marlin Master Data System (MDS) for SAP® is a turnkey data governance concept that includes master data distribution, a maintenance process and tools integrated into SAP to improve and clean data quality.


The add-on is installed on a new SAP ERP system and integrated into the system landscape. By using SAP standard technologies, our master data management system can be easily and efficiently incorporated into the existing IT infrastructure. Customizing settings for the object are used with the existing checks, validations and data structures, and the user works in their familiar environment.


MDS differentiates between local and global master data fields that are distributed across the connected systems. Our customers are already using the internationally executable MDS solution productively in their SAP. MDS is the alternative, proven solution for master data management of customers, vendors and material master data from SAP.

Key Features at a Glance

Requests can be released, deferred or rejected with a standard reason and note information.
Changes to the master record are indicated in blue (changed/original).
In addition to highlighting, changes to a master record can also be displayed in the menu from which you can navigate to the change.
Local and global (system-wide) duplicate checking
If identical data is found, the master record (golden record) can be modeled using a monitor.
Duplicate and identical data definitions are stored on the MDS.
After approval, the global master data fields are backed up and distributed.
The master data is distributed to all connected local systems via IDoc
Account group of the master record can be changed retrospectively
Field validations for individual segments and fields can be deactivated.
