Our Solution

The Marlin Generic Governance (MGG) solution for centralized master data management offers a reliable and traceable data governance process in SAP® for (almost) every master data dialog. Similar to the solutions for business partners and material masters, the creation and maintenance process is supported by a workflow-based process that already contains sophisticated best practices.

The maintenance dialogs retain the familiar look and feel, while the data is stored in a separate staging area in the background until it is released. The data is only transferred to the actual SAP master data tables once the person releasing it has given their “OK”.

When a master data object is created or changed, a workflow is started in the background, which can be processed by the various groups of people with predefined tasks.
