Our Solution
Marlin Compliance Screening (MCS) is an SAP add-on for checking individuals and companies against all types of sanctions lists – whether boycotts, fraud, terrorists or PEP lists (politically exposed persons). The application is integrated into the operative SAP process and monitors the creation and maintenance of master and inventory data for debtors and creditors, in the personnel master, for business partners and in the bank master data of companies. In addition, the sanction list check is also carried out in the relevant transaction data in sales and purchasing. Likewise, the comparison is carried out for manually entered, deviating goods recipients or CPD accounts.

Marlin Compliance Screening (MCS) provides support in various legal fields through extensive customizing. Different company codes and lists can be assigned to specific employees. If there is a match in a sanctions or PEP list, the case workers in the relevant legal field are automatically notified. All steps of the review process are comprehensively documented and recorded in a file. In addition, a web service enables the connection of non-SAP systems, which increases flexibility and integration into existing IT infrastructures.
Legal Basis
EU Regulations 2580/2001 and 881/2002 prohibit the provision of assets and services to terrorist organizations. US regulations issued by the Bureau for Industry and Security (BIS) and the Office for Foreign Assets Controls (OFAC) must also be observed.
