Our Solution
Marlin Content Technology (MCT) connects different providers directly to SAP and CRM systems. When creating and modifying master data, MCT matches the company against an international company database and enriches the master record with information.
The update service queries the previously identified master records at intervals for changes – for example, once a month. Detected field changes are either changed automatically or for confirmation in a monitor, depending on the customizing settings. The update service ensures that the master data is checked consistently and that a high level of data quality is maintained.
Existing master data can be selected and identified using an automated test run. After checking the results, Marlin Content enriches the content IDs (PB-ID, BIP-ID or DUNS number) with the selected field information on the master record.

Salesforce Integration
Through the integration with Salesforce, MCT first checks whether the master record exists. If not, the search is carried out in the company database. The user receives a list of results from which they can select the desired master record. With the selection, the field information runs directly into Salesforce and the master record can be saved.
For example, the following field information can be enriched: company name, address (street, postcode, city), geodata, tax number, VAT ID, commercial register, industry code, business form, date of foundation, managing director, number of employees, annual turnover, company status, website, telephone number, fax number of the parent company (national or international).
Marlin Content uses the business data from leading information providers such as Precisely, beDirect and Bisnode (D&B). The company database offers worldwide coverage.
